The Rift Zone has a Series 3 6061 butted and hydroformed aluminum frame with 120mm travel MultiTrac suspension technology and playful 27.5″ wheels. 27.5″ wheels fit most riders better and create a lightweight and responsive bike, the most playful trail bike in the line.
MULTITRACK SUSPENSION TECHNOLOGY
MultiTrac is an acclaimed suspension system, fine-tuned to have a balanced ride capable of absorbing big hits with an efficient pedaling platform. The rocker link provides a progressive leverage ratio for the rear shock for small bump sensitivity and the feeling of a long travel system on large drops and rocks.
INTERNAL ROUTING
Rift Zone models support internally routed dropper posts and feature internal rear derailleur routing for a clean look and snag-free ride.

The Rift Zone 3 and Rift Zone 2 use Boost front spacing paired with a 148x12mm Boost rear thru-axle for frame and wheel strength, ensuring compatibility for future wheel upgrades

The designers built the Rift Zone around a Series 3, 6061 butted and hydroformed aluminum frame with 120mm of Multi-Trac suspension. Marin has fine-tuned its proprietary Multi-Trac suspension system through years of riding and testing to provide a balanced ride that absorbs big hits while maintaining an efficient pedaling platform.The rocker link provides a progressive leverage ratio for the rear shock for small bump sensitivity. The feeling of a long travel system on large drops and rocks. The bike comes with a modern trail geometry with short chainstays, a low bottom bracket. A long top tube, and a slack head angle. The bike is compatible with internally routed dropper posts. With internal rear derailleur routing for a clean look and snag-free ride.
It comes equipped with a neat and simple 1×12 Shimano drivetrain with a massive 51T cassette, further improving bike performance and reducing chain slap on rougher trails.

A 130mm Marzocchi Bomber Z2 front air fork and a Fox Float DPS rear shock handle suspension duties. The bike rolls on a pair of wide 29mm rim Marin tubeless compatible wheels. Maxxis Assegai tires with a nice and wide 2.5″ width giving you. Loads of traction for climbs and hitting the berms.
