The Muir woods steel frame and fork are super comfortable thanks to the natural vibration dampening steel provides. When you use the Muirwoods to get to work, class, or a big date, the bike needs to be reliable. Like its steel frame, the rest of the components are up to the rigorous riding you will put them through. Tough rims are up to hitting potholes or skipping through traffic, heavy-duty tyres are puncture-resistant to save you from roadside fixes, and a simple 1×10 mountain bike drivetrain ensures your gears will shift whenever you need to speed up fast.
THE HEART OF A MOUNTAIN BIKE
Even though this bike has been optimised for the concrete jungle, you can see its mountain bike roots at its core. Hydraulic brakes are bolted to provide consistent, reliable and super powerful performance in those uh oh moments. The frame geometry features a slacker head angle for stability, short chainstays to keep the bike active, and a 1×10 wide rage travel to ensure you have enough gear range without too much bar clutter.
