The Marin Bobcat Trail is a capable mountain bike with modern trail geometry, built for exploring singletrack and your local trail center. When developing the new Bobcat Trail, Marin sought out to build a bike that is durable, serviceable, and that allows the rider to progress as they gain more confidence. This was achieved by lengthening the reach of the bike and slackening the head angle to improve stability, while a steeper seat angle makes the climbing position more comfortable and efficient.
The heart and soul of the Bobcat Trail stem from the lightweight Series 2 aluminum alloy frame, which is built around 27.5″ or 29″ wheels (depending on the size). The spec is all trail-ready too, which is why all models come with 120mm of rock garden-ready travel, internal housing routing, and hydraulic disc brakes.
The Marin Bobcat Trail is a solid choice for the recreational rider looking to step up to modern geo and step deeper into mountain biking, and for the experienced rider in search of an update that doesn’t break the bank.
